Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this website operated by Alumni Association of SSE Riga (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all website visitors and anyone who files a registration or is events attendee organized by Alumni Association of SSE Riga.

By accessing our website or filing a registration you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you shall not file the registration form to Presidents’ Dinner.


The tickets are sold in cooperation with event organizer SIA IDEA HOUSE (Reg. Nr.: 40103265647). IDEA HOUSE sends customers an invoice according to the information given on the order form. By accepting these terms, the customer agrees to purchase the ticket(s) of their choice at the agreed-upon price, as stated in the contract.


Event tickets have a 5-day cancellation policy from the day the order has been placed. If you haven’t received an order confirmation, please check your junk e-mail folder. If you still cannot find the order confirmation, please contact us at info@ideahouse.lv.

Cancellations are only accepted in writing. Leaving an invoice unpaid does not count as a cancellation. However, it is possible to allocate the ticket to a third party. The contact details of the new participant are to be sent to organizers immediately, at least 14 days before the event. However, it is not possible to change the person or organization liable for the payment.

Cancellations will not be accepted, after 5 days from the day when the order has been placed

NOTE: Cancellations will not be accepted less than 14 days before the event takes place.


All tickets need to be assigned to a person for them to be valid. The person who made the order is responsible for communicating the attendee information to the Association through our attendee dashboard at least 14 days before the event. The person who ordered the tickets is responsible for sharing these terms and conditions and our privacy policy with the attendees.

The name, organization and title of attendees of the event can be shared with event partners and published on the event website. We will NOT distribute any additional information to third parties without your permission. The customer has the right to deny Association the permission to share their information with third parties by emailing alumni@alumni.lv.

We collect information about our event attendees responsibly,following the applicable data protection legislation.


Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Association.

Association has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Association shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.


In the unlikely event of an incident that prevents the event from taking place (independent of Association), Association reserves the right to make changes to the date and time of the event, and its associated activities, at least one week before the event. In the event of a postponement, all registrations will remain valid. If this happens, the Association will notify the participants of the new details of the event.

Association also reserves the right to make changes to the event with less than one week notice if there is a justified reason, such as unexpected issues with the location, or if a speaker is prevented from participating due to a medical emergency or the termination of employment.


Purchasing or assigning someone a ticket for any Association event automatically adds the customer’s email address to our newsletter database. By default, the customer will receive event information, monthly company updates, and other relevant information directly to their inbox.

By attending an Association event, guests consent to be filmed and/or photographed, and for their image and likeness to be used in our future promotional material and can be placed on the event’s website, social networks and media, as well as sent to registered participants without compensation.
